So Laura and i applied to take this bar tending class which i wasn't overly excited for, but was excited for the tips. I am actually really looking forward to it!! if only they would e-mail us back letting us know if we got into the specific class!! Hurrrryyyy already plzzzzz.!

it's actually because i can't see

So i currently have a cut on my nose... i hit myself in the face with my bedroom door looking for something, countless bruises all over my body from walking into things and other stupid things and a broken thumb nail that i managed to slam in my desk yesterday.

HOWEVER i haven't fell over lately, i did almost manage to trip over my own feet at sparks yesterday during sprints though... that left a nice little welt & also almost fell over during weights.

Close call. hahah! I'd say I've been pretty lucky lately :) Anyone else might not see it the same way!

So yesterday i had the luxury of going to the medi center ha, NOT! anyways i thought i was getting strep or tonsillitis, and yep i was right. At this point i could just about write my own prescription. Anyways while i was there i Finally finished my book, "Remember me" How cute!! it was really good, so later that night i went to southgate with my fam, I had to go to the bank and such well i figured while i was there i might as well get a new book. Brigitte works at Cole's!! :) anyways she told me I had to buy the book Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin.

Yesterday i had one of the best workouts in a long time! Sparks sport center + Johnny= LOVE of my life. For so long I have been working out here and at first i would be sore for as long as a week but lately i haven't been getting as sore anymore, which didn't make sense to me, i was working just as hard and the work outs change every week so i was not doing the same exercises over and over again. Yeah, well this morning, i am SO sore!! how satisfying!! it seems so weird to be happy i am sore? I feel so satisfied even though I am moving VERY slow. I just want to work out again today!!

as much as I would like to think this is true, i have come to realize that it just is not. everyone judges everyone else. Even the kindest most warm hearted people judge other people, whether or not they say anything out loud, its human nature to automatically have a first impression of what that person might be like or make assumptions about them.I like to think i am a good person and I judge/ make comments about strangers all of the time.

So, i had one of the worst weekends in legit forever!! first of all Friday Laura and I start to get ready around like 645 and we're ready at like 10 after we try on a million outfits, have no idea what to do with our hair or make up and finally we're ready and ACTUALLY get to pre drink for once so that we're actually sort of drunk by the time we get to the bar. Well our night that we think is about to go so well sure DOES NOT! ugh, so many stupid ridiculous bad things happened and it was emotionally draining.
Saturday I wake up feeling like death and finally get up around 11 but only because Laura worked at one. I went lied around and did nothing until about 330 when i went for lunch with my momma which was nice as always. Laura and i went to have a cheap shopping date but everything in South common was closed so we just went to Starbucks and i went home and did nothing.

Sunday I watched about 5 episodes of Hollywood True Story and then went to joeys with Laura and then we had a winners and superstore date.

I lost my phone and become a HUGE downer, well Laura just got a purse that looks somewhat like mine, well at some point I guess i accidentally put it into her purse instead of my own. yeah it was a very LAME weekend!!

Wish list

• a closet full of clothes that ALWAYS look good and someone to decide what i am wearing when i go out so i dont have to try on 87 different outfits and then decide the first one.
• To just be naturally ready, and wouldn't have to do my hair or makeup!
• NEVER wait in line or pay cover again
• WARM weather, only because i still wear minimal clothing in the winter even though it is freezing out, the bars are just as warm inside as they are in the summer!!
• to look less like a cullen heh heh
• a belini maker, if i could pre drink belinis or knew how to make them, i'd be in heaven!
• also a 3 day work week and 4 day weekend errry weekend

I dont watch to many tv shows, but Greys is one of the ones that i do, and it mean religiously! Yesterday Laura wanted me to come out and I really did want to go except for that would mean Missing my favorite tv show...Yeah i didn't go, but i did go to bed very early and it was fantastic!

So, right now i am reading a pretty cute book its nothing mind boggling or anything, infact it is absolutely mindless. It's called Remember me by sophie Kinsella. She also wrote the Confessions of a shopahilic series which i also really liked.

I would recommend this book, however i am only 65 or so pages in so by the time i finish I might need to ammend this recomendation! :)

Lately i have been dreaming at night! This is pretty rare for me, usually i just sleep and don't dream which i am missing already! I have weirdo dreams, where i am usually in positions where I most likely end up dying.. I keep waking up before that point LUCKILY!! I just want a good night sleep so I am not SO grumpy everydayyyy!

i have WAY to much free time at work

I am one of those people who cares to much, i care about hurting other peoples feelings, i feel bad for saying 'no' to people even when it might not really be convenient for me to say yes, but i feel obligated anyways. I feel bad for quitting a job which i hate... which I am dreading and putting off for as long as possible, by the way! I can't even explain how excited I am for my new job though. I hate sitting and doing nothing all day, its so exhausting and i feel like i am getting dumber the second!

Douglas is very excited, he hates that i sit and do nothing all day and is always telling me I am to smart for that. His girlfriend Mona, who i sort of just didn't like for no reason is actually really really good to me to. She is always letting me know about all of these potential jobs i could have that she thinks I might like having a career in.

For example, yesterday i was talking about how much i love shoes and shoe shopping. She asked me if I have ever thought about being a buyer.. I had no idea what that even meant until yesterday and no idea that there were even jobs like this!! Higher end stores like, The bay, Holt, Aritzia, Aldo all have people working for the company called 'buyers'. These people have the ALL TIME BEST JOB EVER!! especially if you're a shop-aholic like me! they pretty much get paid to go to fashion shows in places like Paris, Milan, Rome, New York, LA and however many other places to look and potential items the company might want to bring in. UM WHAT?? why haven't i thought of something like this before. pretty much my dream job!

SO we went out for dinner to the keg yesterday and googled why St. Patrick was famous.. Laura's brother told her it was because he chased the rats out of Ireland, that however was wrong, but it was close! He chased the Snakes out. I am not really sure how you 'chase' an entire species out of a country but this is his claim to fame!

So yesterday when i get home from work there is still no running water in my house. I called the Taylor Family, they live 5 houses away from me and they said that they have water so I made stevo run over there and fill up a 2 liter bottle of water. Anyways i needed to wash my hair because i was going out with Laura and Kelvin. so i used about 6 bottles of water to wash my hair. Yeah i know it sounds ritzy and glamorous... let me tell you, IT'S NOT!!! it was sooooo cold on my head even though it was room temperature and I didn't get to condition either because I didn't want to waste toooo much water just to wash my hair. After this entire fiasco i need to take a nap, i'm always a grumpy bear when i am tired well when i wake up from my nap GUESS WHAT! there's now running water!! like uhm seriously?? who does this stupid shit happen to besides me?.. most likely NO ONE! haha AH

so yesterday when Laura was dropping me off after Sparks and our sweet date at chili's we drive to my house and see a few Epcor trucks sitting in front of my house and a couple others a few down. Laura dropped me off across the street because she didn't want to be stuck behind them, so as i am crossing the street i see that there is a lot of water on the road and all of the Epcor employees jackets say ' water trouble' or some shit like that. so i get into my home and tell my mom, well she already knew and told me not to worry we still had water. I am getting ready to take a shower since i am SO sweaty and gross but it usually takes me about 15 minutes to actually get in, i don't even know why, i just dick around a lot. I turned on our sink and washed my hands, god knows why, even though i was about to shower. FINALLY i go to turn on the shower AND THERE IS NO WATER!!! UHHH SERIOUSLY?! this kind of thing only happens to me!!!!!! WOW! and the yummiest part, no water this morning, so i am sweaty and gross at work! what a joke!! i think i seem pretty calm in this blog entry but i am actually really really unimpressed

I am not normal

I can just about guarentee i fall more that most people i know, like honestly at least once a day! or I will nearly fall, or just walk into something! its absolutely ridiculous. Everyone else loves it and finds it funny but I do not! haha

No woman ever deserves to get hit, but i do think this situation is being made more 'important' because the girl he hit just so happens to be famous. If he would have hit just some ordinary girl who no one knew anything about the entire issue would have been shoved under the rug and kept there. There would be far less publicity and it certainly wouldn't still get talked about for far over a month, that's for sure! Lost in Calgary

So i was in Calgary last week when I was hanging out with Whitney Aka Bigtime. She starts telling me about this really cool Cupcake store she goes to called crave while we're out for dinner in the most random Bar/Lounge called Baja's something or other. That night on our way back to my hotel, which i really have no idea where it is other than it is on Mcleod Drive and Southland drive we make plans to go there tomorrow! Well knowing whitney and I that was going to be a challenge since we were completely LOST and on top of that it manages to turn into a BLIZZARD in 30 minutes, so not only were we lost.. we couldn't see any road signs! we literally drove around lost for about an hour and a half, almost slid into a brick wall, met the love of my life, missed our turn off because we were so excited to see starbucks and realized i dont know how to read a map.

"kayla, look at this map and tell me if we're passed center road" honestly 5 minutes go by until i finally say "umm.... yeah i have no idea how to read a map... how would i know where our car is in relation to this map" "HAHAHAHAHAHA"
